Private aviation services provider Atlantic Aviation is expanding its footprint in the Caribbean, having acquired ExecuJet’s FBO at Princess Juliana International Airport in Sint Maarten.
The purchase of the FBO coincides with ExecuJet’s relocation to the recently completed dedicated state-of-the-art General Aviation facility. The facility offers a range of aircraft ground services including fuelling, parking, landing permits, GPUs and concierge services such as passenger handling and coordination, customs and immigration clearance, catering services and transportation arrangements.
“Providing our customers with an expanded international footprint while strengthening our Caribbean network are important goals for us,” said Jeff Foland, CEO of Atlantic Aviation. “Our prestigious new Sint Maarten location allows us to accomplish both – providing customers in the region with seamless access to Atlantic’s industry-leading service and hospitality.”
To ensure minimal disruption and continuity for customers, the location will continue to operate under the ExecuJet name, and the existing team will remain in place.
Bobby Femia, VP Mergers and Acquisitions at Atlantic Aviation, added that the acquisition is significant because Princess Juliana International Airport is critical aviation infrastructure for the region and the primary gateway to marquee destinations such as St Barts.
