Delta Air Lines and Southwest Airlines will begin nonstop services from Hollywood Burbank Airport to Atlanta and Nashville, respectively, in 2019.

Delta will launch twice-daily flights on Boeing 737-700 aircraft to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on 8 July. The nonstop service will enable passengers to connect to more than 150 domestic and 70 international destinations through Atlanta.

Meanwhile low-fare carrier, Southwest will begin a daily flight between Burbank and Nasvhille International Airport on 9 June.

Acknowledging how Nashville is a hub for music and Burbank a gateway to Los Angeles, Frank  R. Miller, executive director, Hollywood Burbank Airport, described the new link as “a perfect match for the music and entertainment industry.”

November proved a busy month at Hollywood Burbank Airport. The Guy Fieri Kitchen + Bar opened for business offering passengers a sit-down, hot food restaurant experience. In addition, the Burbank Water and Power Department completed the installation of an Efacec Efapower Direct Current Fast Charger for electric vehicles.
