Situated in Karmøy, south-west Norway and nestled between mountains, islands and the North Sea, Haugesund Airport opened two new routes with SAS- Scandinavian Airlines on the same day – 26 March, 2023.

The new routes include 6 weekly flights to Copenhagen Airport in Denmark and Trondheim Airport in Norway. SAS already serves Haugesund from/ via Oslo and Stockholm and the new routes means passengers travelling from Norway’s west coast will have greater access to the Scandinavian carriers global network.

For those travelling to Haugesund, the city is steeped in Viking history and a vibrant film and music scene. It also serves as a gateway to the spectacular Folgefonna glacier and Skudenshavn village and is a popular starting point for those wanting to explore the flora and fauna in the surrounding mountains.
