Hannover Airport has partnered with BARIG, the Board of Airline Representatives in Germany.
BARIG says the organisation and its member airlines can now work together with Hannover Airport on various operational improvements, including passenger experience and ground service enhancements. Hannover Airport, located in Lower Saxony, offers international commercial airport and has a 24-hour operating licence.
Dr Martin Roll, CEO of Hannover Airport, said: “The aviation industry in Germany is at a pivotal point, where the course for the future is being set and where areas such as digitalization are opening up entirely new possibilities. As a BARIG partner, we look forward to exchanging valuable experience and expertise with airline representatives from around the world to drive further improvements. On this basis, we can work together to lay the groundwork for tomorrow’s success.”
Michael Hoppe, BARIG Chairman and Executive Director, commented: “The cooperation between airlines and airport operators is highly complex and encompasses many areas, such as ground operations, aviation security, and sustainability. That is why we are fostering constructive dialogue with airports and encourage all stakeholders to work together to improve processes at various levels. Further optimising operations will benefit all parties involved, especially our airlines’ passengers. We look forward to a productive exchange with Hannover Airport.”
