With Hampton Roads Executive Airport on a mission to elevate the general aviation experience in southeastern Virginia, the airport has confirmed its collaboration with Avfuel Corporation.

As part of Avfuel’s branded network, the airport, which is a public-use reliever airport serving the greater Hamptons region, will benefit from the fuel suppliers services and operational support. Operators using the FBO will be able to access rewards through AVTRP, streamlined transactions and access to Avfuel’s sustainability tools including book and claim for sustainable aviation fuel and carbon offsetting.
The announcement is aligned with Hampton Roads Executive Airport’s ongoing multi-phase expansion plan, that has already transformed it into one of Virginia’s premier aviation facilities. Recently, the airport completed a USD20 million expansion project to open a new, 96,000 sq.ft. jetport complex on the airfield, which includes eight 12,000 sq. ft. corporate hangars, as well as an elegant FBO designed for comfort and operational efficiency.
The airport was acquired by Fox and his partners in 2000, who have invested more than USD80 million invested in the airport and its infrastructure. Improvements have included a 5,350-foot runway, a parallel taxiway and multiple new hangar facilities situated on the 664-acre airport.

Beyond infrastructure, the airport is positioning itself as a regional hub for advanced air mobility (AAM) and aviation innovation. Future development phases include facilities to accommodate electric and hydrogen aircraft, as well as infrastructure for alternative fuel technologies – further aligning with Avfuel’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
