Seats are now on sale with popular low-fare carrier easyJet from Glasgow in Scotland to Malta, Pisa in Italy, Lisbon in Portugal and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.
Malta is a new Mediterranean route from the Scottish hub and will be operated from 4 August 2026 with twice weekly flights. Meanwhile flights from Glasgow to Lisbon will take off from 29 March, while services to Pisa and Sharm El Sheikh will launch on 1 August.
This network growth provides customers travelling from Glasgow with a wider choice of holiday destinations as well as business opportunities. The addition of the four routes comes following easyJet’s recent 30th birthday celebrations at Glasgow. The carrier first served the airport on 10 November 1995 with a flight from London Luton.
For Chris Tibbett, Aero Director at AGS Airports (which operates Glasgow as well as Aberdeen and Southampton), “the addition of these four routes is fantastic news for the airport, the city and passengers… Enhancing our connectivity with major European cities is a key priority, so it’s particularly pleasing to see Lisbon and Pisa added to the over 40 destinations now served by easyJet from Glasgow. Both Sharm El Sheikh and Malta are two hugely popular destinations, and all four routes will provide passengers with even greater choice.”
He also noted that having recently marked the 30th anniversary of easyJet’s first flight to Glasgow, easyJet continues to go from strength to strength at the Scottish hub.

More than eight million people have chosen to fly with the airline to and from Scotland over the past year.
