Gama Aviation showcases new Business Aviation Centre at Sharjah International Airport

Gama Aviation is showcasing its new Sharjah Business Aviation Centre (BAC) to the business aviation industry.

The facility, located at Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates, was opened in April and features an FBO lounge, a newly developed 12,000 sqm air-conditioned hangar, dedicated crew facilities, integrated ground handling and fuelling services and a self-manoeuvring apron designed to improve operational efficiency for aircraft movements.

“What began as a long-term vision to create a purpose-designed business aviation gateway in Sharjah has now become a fully operational environment built entirely from the ground up around privacy, discretion, comfort and choice,” the company stated, noting that the imagery gives a much clearer sense of the scale, atmosphere and architectural intent behind the facility from the expansive apron-facing lounges and floor-to-ceiling glass frontage through to the calm and understated passenger environments designed to offer a more private and refined alternative within the UAE market.

According to the company, the key part of the original vision for the BAC was always location. “While Dubai remains one of the world’s most important business aviation destinations, Sharjah increasingly offers operators and passengers a different point of access into the region ‒ particularly for those travelling to northern Dubai, the Northern Emirates and the growing commercial and tourism developments emerging across Ras Al Khaimah.”
