Eve Air Mobility (known as Eve) has collaborated with Ferrovial Airports by signing a Letter of Intent (LOI) to explore the use of Eve’s urban air traffic management (ATM) software solution to support safe operation of vertiports and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVOTL) aicraft.

With more than 70 years experience as a flobal infrastructure provider and operator Ferrovial Vertiports plans to develop a network of more than 10 vertiports across the state of Florida in the US and a network of 25 vertiports across the UK.

Andre Stein, co-CEO of Eve described the agreement at representing a significant step forward. “Eve is more than eVTOL manufacturer and we are working with companies like Ferrovial Vertiports to provide them with solutions that will allow these aircraft to operate safely and efficiently,” he said.

Eve’s urban ATM software is an agnostic solution that will enable the integration of all airspace users in the urban environment and which will support the safety, efficiency and improvement of the urban air mobility (UAM) ecosystem. As an essential piece of the ecosystem, Ferrovial’s vertiports will be integrated into cities and adapted to the surrounding environment

With its aim to build safe and sustainable transportation infrastructure for the future of flight, Ferrovial’s CEO, Kevin Cox, added: “Our goal is to build  a series of agnostic vertiport networks across the US and Europe and ensuring that we are utilising an agnostic state-of-the-art Urban ATM will be key to achieving our ambitions.”
