Embross, a provider of passenger self-service and airport technology, has been awarded a contract from Sourcewell, a US government agency, to offer access to its passenger processing and crowd flow management solutions across North American airports. Some of Embross’ products include the self-service VelocityKiosk and bag drop, as well as common-use passenger processing, queue management, and e-gates.

With the contract public-sector organisations will have access to these solutions, benefiting from Sourcewell’s competitive solicitation process.

“This contract makes it easier than ever for airports and government agencies to access our self-service solutions, removing much of the tedious tendering process that has slowed progress in the past,” said Joey Campbell, head of Americas at Embross. “Airports are already seeing the benefits, with Embross winning new projects under the agreement, showing just how quickly partners can now adopt the technology they need. We are proud to be recognised by Sourcewell and Canoe, and excited to support public-sector partners as they modernise the passenger experience.”

“We are excited to welcome Embross to the Sourcewell family,” commented Mike Garrette, principal supplier development executive at Sourcewell. “The Embross contract covers passenger and crowd flow management solutions, including queue management and self-service kiosks. We look forward to partnering with Embross to serve our airport customers and related agencies.”
