EDMO Distributors has agreed to act as the wholesale stocking distributor for Audio Authority’s White Lightning aviation ground power units (GPUs).
A provider of GPUs, BatteryMINDer products and connection kits for airframe power and battery maintenance charging, White Lightning’s latest product offering is the SmartGPU. The specialised switching-mode power supply source has been designed to provide pilots and aviation maintenance professionals with a portable, cost-effective source of stable, high-current, noise-free DC power that replicates the inflight electrical environment.
Intended to energise an aircraft’s main electrical bus without using its battery or engine, the GPU will safely provide continuous power for the most delicate electronics and airframe systems up to its full rated output. The SmartGPU mobile app allows the user to monitor the power draw from a handheld device.
