FAI Aviation Group is in a buoyant mood for this week’s European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE), taking place in Geneva. Now in its 36th year, the Nuremberg Airport headquartered company opened its FAI Technik’s maintenance base at Berlin Brandenburg Airport in February 2023.

The new Berlin facility has been fully booked since its opening with around 30 Hawker and Beechcraft series aircraft completing base and line maintenance so far. The facility is attracting clients mostly from Europe and Africa. The facility complements FAI Technik’s existing centre of competence for base maintenance and modifications of Learjet and Bombardier aircraft at its Albrect Duerer Airport headquarters in Nuremberg.

“We’ve enjoyed three highly successsful months of FAI Techniki’s MRO business in Berlin,” said FAI Technik’s Managing Director, Michael Axtmann. “The hangar floor has been full since we opened and looks to remain so for at least the next few months.”
