Low-cost carrier, easyJet, has launched four new routes from three UK airports, including to Luxor in Egypt for the first time in more than a decade.
Twice weekly flights to Luxor will commence on 11 November from London Gatwick, giving passengers access to Luxor’s celebrated monuments such as the Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings and tomb of Tutankhamun. Taking advantage of the new service, easyJet holidays will also offer a river cruise package holiday to Luxor.
Elsewhere in Eygpt, easyJet is also further expanding its services with new winter flights to the popular holiday resort, Sharm El Sheik from Liverpool, which will launch in February. The addition of this service will also see the low-cost carrier operate more seats to Egypt from the UK than any other airline.
The airline is also launching two new routes to the Norwegian capital Oslo from Manchester and Liverpool in November. Both routes will be operated twice weekly during the winter, enabling passengers to plan a Christmas getaway or winter sports break. This development comes hot on the heels of the launch of routes to Tromso in northern Norway from Gatwick, Bristol and Manchester last month.
“We’re delighted to be launching even more routes from airports across the UK to a fantastic range of leisure destinations, meaning we’re now offering over 41 routes inlcuding three brand new destinations on our network from this winter,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager.
