Daniel Kuperschmid
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority has added Daniel Kuperschmid, the current President and CEO of the San Diego Tourism Authority, to its Board of Directors.
The airport authority is governed by nine Board members who each serve three-year terms. Kuperschmid is taking the seat of Cabrera, who recently resigned from the board. In his place, Kuperschmid will serve the remainder of Cabrera’s term until 31 January 2027.
“It’s an honour to be appointed to the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority Board,” said Kuperschmid. “The airport is often the first and last impression of our destination, and its success is closely tied to the visitor experience. I look forward to working with the Board to strengthen the connection between air service, accessibility, and the continued growth of San Diego’s tourism economy.”
