The system will support the modernisation of tower operations by integrating key operational tools into a single digital platform designed to enhance situational awareness, runway safety and operational efficiency.
The contract was awarded following a public tender process and forms part of Croatia Control’s broader strategy to modernise air traffic management infrastructure.
The OneControl platform will integrate with existing tower systems and deliver a modern Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control System (A-SMGCS) together with an Electronic Flight Strip (EFS) solution, providing controllers with a unified operational environment.
Gonzalo Moreno Muñoz, Vice President Tower at ADB SAFEGATE, said: “We are proud to support Croatia Control in the modernisation of tower operations at Zagreb Airport. Integrated tower automation platforms provide air traffic controllers with enhanced operational awareness and decision-support capabilities, enabling safer and more efficient management of airport surface movements.”
Mario Kunovec-Varga, CEO of Croatia Control Ltd, added: “ADB SAFEGATE’s expertise in tower automation and its collaborative approach throughout the tender process confirmed that OneControl is the right platform for our future operational needs. This system will support safe and efficient air traffic management at Zagreb Airport while preparing our infrastructure for future developments.”
