Underlining its commitment to operational expansion plans, Cotswold Airport, in Gloucestershire in the UK has kick-started 2019 by investing in new fuelling infrastructure.

The privately-owned general aviation airport has installed two new fuel bowsers: A brand new Jet A1 static storage tank with a 50,000 litre capacity and an Avgas bowser with 7,500 litre capacity.

In July 2018, World Fuel Services won the tender to supply both jet fuel and Avgas to the airport with a spokesperson commenting that “Cotswold Airport brings a unique offering to the aviation market in the UK.”

Headquartered in Miami, Florida the fuel supplier also provides energy procurement advisory services, as well as supply fulfilment and transaction and payment management solutions.
