CMAC Group has partnered with intelligent vouchering platform iCoupon to strengthen passenger support services for airlines during operational disruption.
Under the agreement, CMAC has been appointed as a transportation partner for iCoupon Rides, a solution that enables airlines to arrange ground transportation for passengers affected by delays, cancellations and other disruptions. The partnership expands the range of transport options available through a single integration, combining iCoupon’s digital passenger care platform with CMAC’s global transportation network.
As an established aggregator of ground transportation services for the travel sector, CMAC will provide access to a broad network of suppliers covering taxis, private hire vehicles, executive transport and coach services. The aim is to help airlines move passengers safely and efficiently when travel plans are disrupted.
The integration allows passengers to arrange onward travel through RideLinks, powered by CMAC and generated via iCoupon, without the need to download an app or create an account. Airlines also retain visibility throughout the journey, from pick-up to drop-off, helping support passenger welfare requirements and regulatory compliance.
Ashley Seed, chief commercial officer at CMAC Group, said the partnership addresses the growing need for scalable passenger support solutions across the aviation sector.
“When disruption occurs, airlines need partners that can respond quickly, consistently and at scale. Through this partnership, airlines can access CMAC’s extensive global network of ground transportation partners directly within the iCoupon platform,” he said.
“By combining CMAC’s proven technology, supplier network and 24/7 operational expertise with iCoupon’s digital passenger care solutions, we’re making it easier for airlines to arrange onward travel, maintain service standards and support passengers when they need it most.
“Together, we’re helping carriers reduce operational complexity while delivering a better airline passenger experience during disruption.”
The partnership is designed to give airlines greater flexibility when managing disruption, while simplifying the process of arranging onward ground transportation for affected passengers.
