Low-fare carrier, Breeze Airways, has announced two new routes from South Bend Airport in Indiana to Orlando and Fort Meyers in Florida.

“We are thrilled to welcome Breeze to SBN and offer our community more options to easily get to fun in the Sunshine State,” said Mike Daigle, South Bend International CEO and Executive Director. “As we continue to push the envelope to be the premier choice for travel, the opportunities Breeze brings as a new airline partner is exciting.”

The Orlando route will commence on 7 November, operating on Thursdays and Sundays, while the Fort Meyers destination will fly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting on 5 February 2025.

“With Breeze’s decision to expand service out of South Bend, we’re able to offer increased regional connectivity into and out of our great state. Indiana is truly a crossroads to destinations near and far. I’m thrilled to see these increased opportunities for customers to experience all that Indiana has to offer,” added Indiana Governor Eric. J Holcomb.

The announcement of these new routes follows a continuous expansion of South Bend Airport, recently announcing other new routes and receiving funding for upgrades to the Taxiway pavement.
