Delta Air Lines has announced the return of a non-stop seasonal service on Saturdays between Blue Grass Airport in Lexington and Minneapolis – Saint Paul International Airport from May to August. The route will be operated with a CRJ-900.
The schedule was cancelled in 2021, however by reinstating the weekend service, the regional airport can now offer more flexibility for passengers.
“Restoring this seasonal route gives our travellers even more flexibility and convenience, whether they’re connecting to destinations across the upper Midwest and beyond or welcoming visitors to the Bluegrass region,” said Eric Frankl, president & CEO of Blue Grass Airport. “This added service reflects the continued demand and strength of our market. We appreciate Delta Air Lines’ commitment to central Kentucky and look forward to seeing our community take full advantage of this enhanced connectivity.”
The airport recently announced its 2025 results, recording 1,614,053 passengers and beating its own records for the second year running.
