In line with plans to transform the commercial real estate near Kempegowda International Airport in India, Bengaluru Airport City Limited (BACL – a wholly owned subsidiary of Bangalore International Airport Limited) has unveiled investment plans for a two million sq.ft. business park and hotel.
BACL’s plans for the biophilic-inspired business park are to offer smart workspaces that seamlessly blend work and play, while catering for the diverse needs of businesses and their employees. One of the standout features of the project is the Urban Forest, a lush oasis in the centre of the development. This green space will serve as a focal point, blending indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the area. The metro station in Airport City will provide connectivity to and from the business park. The business park will be complemented by a Combo Hotel with 775 rooms, which is due to be finished by the end of 2026.

BIAL’s Airport City has already seen significant expansion, with the renowned Taj Bangalore hotel now offering a total of 370 keys to cater to the growing demand for hotel accommodation in the area. This strategic growth in hospitality options is tailored to enhance visitor experiences and meet the evovling needs of the expanding airport city and the passengers flying in and out of Bangalore.
