Belfast City Airport has launched its inaugural flight to Bristol with easyJet. The flight, which took off from Belfast on 8 September is the first on a new winter route to Bristol and provides customers in Northern Ireland with even more convenient domestic connections this winter.
“We are delighted to be launching our first flights from Belfast City to Bristol for the winter, providing more choice for business and leisure travellers wishing to connect to one of England’s most popular city destinations,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager.
According the airline, Bristol offers something for every type of travellers, with its year-round festivals, award-winning cycle tracks, Michelin-starred restaurants, inspiring street art and lively nightlife. The city also offers convenient links to the nearby historic city of Bath as well as to Wales and the southwest coast.
“We continue to further strengthen our network in Belfast having recently added services to London Gatwick, Liverpool and Glasgow from Belfast City which are already proving very popular with customers,” Gayward added.
Meanwhile, Ellie McGimpsey, Aviation Development Manager added: “It’s great to see flights to Bristol taking off with easyJet, adding another route to our comprehensive network of destinations.
