Following a £1.2 million makeover, airport lounge provider Aspire has unveiled its new facility at Belfast City Airport.
Created by concept design specialist DV8 Designs, the refurbishment has seen the lounge capacity increase by 70% to accommodate 178 seats.
Welcoming the refurbished lounge, Katy Best, Commercial Direct at Belfast City Airport, said: “It’s fantastic to see the completed Aspire Lounge, which sets a new standard for premium travel in Northern Ireland.”
Passengers travelling through Belfast City Airport this summer and beyond can enjoy a more comfortable and tranquil start to their journey, while making the most of the stunning views from the runway, comfortable seating and complimentary food and drinks.
The decor inside the lounge draws inspiration from the iconic Giant’s Causeway and features LED lighting that creates a strong sense of place, complemented by the use of tile and slatted curved screens and warm colour palette to evoke a tranquil atmosphere.

Accessible to all passengers, the lounge is available on a pay as you go service and as well as purpose-built booths offering facilities for business travellers wanting to catch up on emails, it also caters for families and individuals.
