Latvian airline airBaltic has renewed its contract with ground services handler Baltic Ground Services (BGS) for another year.

Under the updated agreement, Baltic Ground Services (BGS) will remain responsible for fuelling the low-fare carrier’s aircraft at Palanga in Lithuania and Riga in Latvia until the end of 2026.

Vitalis Dudys, BGS Group’s Head of Commerce said the new agreement confirms the confidence the Latvian carrier places in its trusted partner. The two companies have cooperated for more than a decade, having first partnered in 2015.

“Throughout all these years of collaboration, airBaltic has had many opportunities to experience our professionalism and service quality first-hand,” said Dudys.

“The continuation of this partnership is a great recognition for us. Our goal remains the same – to continuously improve and support airBaltic in achieving its ambitious goals.”

The renewed agreement also supports airBaltic’s operational planning and service quality across its network, which includes daily flights between Palanga and Riga. The airline’s network connects to more than 80 destinations from its base and the largest airport in the Baltics, Riga.
