Aviator Airport Alliance has agreed to provide ground handling and de-icing services for low-fare carrier, Wizz Air, at eight airports in Norway.
The three-year agreement will take effect from 13 January, 2026. It will cover ground support services at Alesund Airport, Bergen Airport, Bodeo Airport, Haugesund Airport, Kristiansand Airport, Stavanger Airport, Tromso Airport and Trondheim Airport.
For Bodo and Kristiansand, neither of which currently serve Wizz Air, the agreement covers possible services there in the future.
The two companies have previously partnered in Norway, as well as in Denmark, at Copenhagen Airport and in Sweden at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, Gothenburg Landvetter, and Malmo Airport. This agreement marks a new partnership. “We are excited that Wizz Air has chosen us, and we are looking forward to delivering results and on-time performance for its passengers,” said Peter Stackeryd, Aviator’s Managing Director.
Wizz Air’s Development Manager, Kristof Filemon, added: “We have successfully partnered with Aviator in Norway before and we are pleased to be reestablishing this partnership. We also currently enjoy close and successful cooperation with Aviator in Denmark and Sweden. Their safety-first approach, high-quality levels, and reliability provide the foundation we need to support and further develop our operations across Norway.”
