Two premier FBOs – Fort Wayne Aero Center and Smith Field Aero Center – have joined the Avfuel-branded network to bring enhanced fuel services and offerings to northeast Indiana.
The exclusive FBO at Indiana’s Fort Wayne International Airport, Fort Wayne Aero Center is a full-service premier facility. Customers can make use of a comprehensive suite of services, including top-tier fuelling, cargo handling and on-site customs. Inside, the FBO features a modern, bright lobby area to welcome passengers, a pilot lounge, two conference rooms, a fitness centre, an executive passenger terminal and complimentary refreshments.
The FBO also features over 100,000 sq ft of heated hangar space to accommodate aircraft up to a G650.
Complementing the Fort Wayne facility, sister site Smith Field Aero Center is located at Smith Field Airport, a general aviation airport in North Fort Wayne. It is one of the oldest surviving aviation sites in the US. A smaller facility than its sister site, Smith Field provides full-service fuelling, T-hangar rentals, tie-downs, crew car and flight planning services.
