Atlantic Aviation Nashville has opened new facility at Nashville International Airport, including a new terminal building and crew areas.

The new 12,000 sq. ft. terminal features a technology-equipped business centre with two conference rooms and a café, as well as a separate, private VIP lounge with direct aircraft access. Another addition is an expanded crew lounge with quiet rooms and a private shower area.

“We’re focused on meaningfully enhancing the value and overall experience we offer our customers in Nashville,” said Kris Mayle, Area Director of the Southeast Region of Atlantic Aviation. “Our new facility at BNA is indicative of the higher levels of service, safety, and peace of mind we pride ourselves on providing at every Atlantic location, and it’s an outstanding example of our ongoing commitment to consistently exceed customer expectations.”

Alongside the new terminal building, Atlantic Aviation has constructed a 30,000 sq. ft. heated hangar with 28-foot door clearance, an adjoining office, and shop space. It also includes a separate ramp with bus access and walk-through security screening, to facilitate large-bodied charter flights and passengers who are not in the main terminal, such as sports teams and large organisations. The main terminal area has an expanded ramp space with increased aircraft parking. The facility also holds a fuel farm that can store 60,000 gallons of Jet-A fuel.

For Atlantic crew, the new facility provides a training area with views of ramp operations. The company has also considered sustainability for the facility’s LEED certification, with ramp side charging for electric ground support equipment, six EV charging stations, and high efficiency lighting, water, and HVAC systems included in its design.
