The certification, which was completed within six months, will bolster capabilities at the group’s hangar facility at Westlands Apron, Dublin Airport in Ireland. It will now be able to provide MRO/ AOG support services to general aviation customers, according to the group’s CEO, Brendan McQuaid. He noted the Part 145 approval “extends our range of capabilities to our base clients,” and enables the company to “expand our offering to other GA customers also from our base here in Dublin.”
Enhanced service capabilities
While the Part 145 approval will initially target Alliance Aerospace’s Gulfstream customers, it also augments the group’s extensive portfolio of services, which includes CAMO support, aircraft management, aircraft charter, hangarage, ground handling and trip support services, as well as technical support.
McQuaid was joined by FBO Regional Manager Alliance Aviation Group, Liam Murphy, who added: “This approval is another milestone achievement for our every-expanding facility in Dublin. Having developed our FBO and Ground Handling capabilities over the last 18 months, achieving this Part 145 status permits us to expand further and position ourselves to deliver a full service FBO package to existing and potential new clients.”
