Airport Dimensions has launched Connecta+, a platform that assembles digital services, lounges, and commercial opportunities into one ecosystem, enabling airports to improve spend per passenger, traveller relationships, non-aeronautical income, and the overall airport experience.
In developing Connecta+, Airport Dimensions has partnered with GrayMatter, an airport commerce and digital transformation technology and analytics firm, who provided platforms and experience with analytics, IoT connectivity, and machine learning.
“Connecta+ represents a significant leap forward in our mission to elevate the airport experience,” said Mignon Buckingham, CEO at Airport Dimensions. “By creating a unified digital ecosystem across the airport, we are not only solving the challenges of fragmented traveller experiences but also equipping airports with the tools to better understand and engage with their customers. Connecta+ empowers airports to deliver personalised, seamless journeys while unlocking revenue growth opportunities. Through our partnership with GrayMatter, we are harnessing the power of AI and real-time data to make this vision a reality.”
Connecta+ has many features, such as AI-powered insights to boost guest engagement and services; cross-selling and upselling opportunities in lounges and in airport restaurants, retail, duty free, parking, and ground transportation; and loyalty and engagement tools.
“Our expertise in airport analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital commerce – combined with that of our recent acquisition Servy – aligns perfectly with Airport Dimensions’ vision for Connecta+ and the airport experience,” commented Vikas Gupta, Founder and CEO at GrayMatter. “Together, we are creating an intelligent, connected, and frictionless airport commerce ecosystem that benefits both travelers and airport operators. This aligns strategically with our vision to be the leading technology partner for airports in driving non-aeronautical revenue. We are thrilled to partner with Airport Dimensions and drive the airport commercial experience forward together.”
According to a study conducted by Airport Dimensions, 93 per cent of airports see customisable real-time journey support as a priority, but 38 per cent say fragmented digital ecosystems are a challenge, and 47 per cent place future proofing with a fully-integrated, end-to-end journey platform as an essential requirement. Airport Dimensions aims to provide a solution for these concerns and requirements with Connecta+.
