Airlink

As part of its drive to restore flights between South Africa and Madagascar to pre-pandemic levels, Airlink is reinstating its weekly scheduled services between Johannesburg and Nosy Be in Madagascar from 23 June.

In January 2o23 and following the lifting the nearly three year ban between the two countries, the Southern African carrier  resumed flights to Madagascar’s capital, Antananarivo.

“Having just recently re-established connectivity between Johannesburg and Antanarivo, which is a predominantly business and trade route, Airlink is preparing to re-ignite tourism between the two countries by restarting its popular Nosy Be service,” said Airlink CEO and Managing Director, Rodger Foster.

“In addition to visitors from Southern Africa, Airlink will be making Nosy be more accesiible than before thanks to the convenience and variety of connections with Airlink and its growing family of more than 20 global airline partners, via our main hub at O.R. Tambo International Airport.”

The weekly flight between Johannesburg and Nosy Be will be operated on Sundays using one of Airlink’s Embraer E-170 twin-engine jetliners.
