Due to airspace closure for civil aviation, Latvian carrier airBaltic has cancelled all its flights to and from Ukraine from 24 February until 13 March, 2022.

In a statement the airline said: “The safety of our passengers and employees is the main priority of airBaltic. We are evaluating the current situation before each flight and following the recommendations issued by official authorities. airBaltic is flexible and ready to adjust its flight schedule if necessary.”

Affected passengers are invited to check their booking for refund eligibility. The airline is also recommending that travellers arrange their own transportation to leave Ukraine as fast as possible via land transport.

**NEWS UPDATE As of 28 February airBaltic has suspended operations until the end of May, 2022.
