Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) provider, AeroBrigham, is expanding its capabilities at Decatur Municipal Airport in North Texas, by building a new hangar.
The expansion of its facilities follows increased demand for fixed and rotary-wing MRO services with the new hangar being used exclusively for helicopter support while the current facility will be dedicated to fixed wing MRO, support and completions.
In addition to 45,000 sq. ft. of additional floor space customers will also now benefit from a sophisticated ‘down draft’ type paint facility capable of handling transport category helicopters. Specialised aircraft painting technicians will operate the paint facility, which will complement the overall efficiency of aircraft refurbishment, reconfiguration and completions.
