Around 70 workers employed by Aberdeen International Airport are being balloted for industrial action as part of a pay dispute.

The workers involved in the ballot, which is set to close on Wednesday 10 June, include administrative staff, airfield operators, technicians, firefighters and crew commanders.

An industrial action ballot involving security staff employed by ICTS at Aberdeen airport is also open and will close on Wednesday 17 June after workers similarly rejected a pay offer.

Sharon Graham, General Secretary of the Unite trade union, said: “Unite will back our members every step of the way in their fight for better jobs, pay and conditions.”
